BiographyBelinda Larmour started painting at Belfast High School under the guidance of Denis McDowell, before leaving Northern Ireland to study music at the University of Edinburgh. From 1983 she worked for the BBC in Belfast, at first in the Music Department, and later as a Television Director. During this time, she also gained substantial experience as a professional musician – touring America as a violinist in the Phil Coulter orchestra, and working as a regular keyboard player and musical arranger with the John Anderson Big Band. In the past few years Belinda has increasingly been concentrating on painting, and combines work for exhibitions and galleries with a growing number of portrait commissions. Education
